Proteas thump India in first ODI

The South African cricketers have beaten India by 141 runs in the opening one day international at The Wanderers in Johannesburg.

Quinton de Kock hit 135 off 121 balls as South Africa made 358 for four in their 50 overs.

The Proteas then dismissed India for 217 in the 41st over with Dale Steyn and Ryan McLaren taking three wickets each.

The second of three one-day internationals will be played in Durban on Sunday.
