Manawatu-Wanganui has made history by defeating Bay of Plenty in the New Zealand men's Interprovincial golf championships at the North Shore Golf Club.
The finalists from 2012 avenged their playoff loss to the same side with an emphatic 4.5 - 0.5 victory to win the coveted team's match-play title for the first time since 1964.
