Australian Neil Robertson has beaten Englishman Mark Selby to win the UK Championship and complete snooker's coveted career triple crown.

Robertson, the world number one, recovered from 5-1 down to defeat reigning champion Selby 10-7 in the final in York.

The victory means 31-year-old Robertson becomes only the eighth man, and first non-Englishman, in history to win all three of snooker's major titles.

In adding to his 2010 world championship and 2012 Masters titles, Robertson joined a select group to have achieved the feat including Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Alex Higgins.
