The New Zealand cricket great Chris Cairns says he's engaged lawyers after being linked to a match-fixing probe, even though investigators still haven't contacted him.
Cairns is reportedly one of three former New Zealand internationals under investigation by the International Cricket Council for alleged match-fixing.
Two other former Black Caps, Lou Vincent and Daryl Tuffey, have confirmed they are cooperating with the inquiry.
But Cairns says he's not been contacted by the ICC, and he wants to know how his name had been leaked to the media in connection to the investigation.
The 43-year-old last year won $180,000 in a libel action against the former Indian Premier League chairman Lalit Modi over a tweet that alleged he was involved in match-fixing.
He's concerned that the allegations could end his fledgling media career.
