New Zealand cricket Captain Brendon McCullum has praised his pace attack for securing Friday's victory over the West Indies in the second Test at Wellington.

The Black Caps bowlers took 16 wickets on day three to defeat the tourists by an innings and 73 runs.

Man of the match Trent Boult finished with career best figures of 10 for 80, but McCullum says Tim Southee and Neil Wagner also deserve credit.

New Zealand lead the three-match series 1-0 with the final Test starting in Hamilton on Thursday.
