The All Whites midfielder Michael McGlinchey is set for a move to Japan.
Central Coast are set to lose McGlinchey in the A-League's January transfer window after an offer from the Graham Arnold-coached J-League club Vegalta Sendai.
Fairfax Media is reporting the New Zealander has apparently agreed in principle to a loan move that will reunite him with his former coach although no deal has been signed.
Mariners coach Phil Moss says he expects McGlinchey to make the move to Japan next month and would not stand in his way.
