The under-fire England cricket coach Andy Flower has been backed by the England and Wales Cricket Board's chief executive David Collier to lead them in the next Ashes series in 2015.
With two tests still to play in Australia, the former Zimbabwe international faces the possibility of an embarrassing 5-0 whitewash, but Collier and his board believe they've got one of the best coaches in world cricket, and the ECB has total confidence in him.
Flower has also received wiespread support from the players including pace bowler Steven Finn and batsman Joe Root.
Finn says Flower has been fantastic for the group and it would be a great loss if the 45-year-old goes.
The coach has delayed making a decision on his future until after the current tour.
Meanwhile the off-spinner Graeme Swann has compounded England's woes by suddenly announcing his immediate retirement after returning to England.
