The Northern Knights have continued their domination of the national Twenty20 cricket competition with a 26-run win against lowly Central Districts in Nelson.
Elsewhere the Otago Volts beat the Auckland Aces by eight wickets in Alexandra.
Auckland produced a modest 119 for nine off their 20 overs.
Meanwhile the game between the Wellington Firebirds and Canterbury Wizards was abandonned without a ball being bowled at a soggy Basin Reserve.
