The New Zealand batsman Corey Anderson has struck the world's fastest century in one day cricket.

In the rain reduced match against the West Indies in Queenstown, Anderson reached a hundred off just 36 balls.

He's beaten the previous record by one ball, which was set by the Pakistani batsman Shahid Afridi against Sri Lanka in 1996.

At the end of their 21 over innings, the Black Caps were 283 for 4.
