The Wellington Phoenix have won their third straight A-League football game with a come-from-behind 3-1 upset victory at last season's minor premiers Western Sydney.

The Phoenix ended the Wanderers' unbeaten home record with twin goals from Steyn Huysegems, following substitute Tyler Boyd's opener, after the Sydney side scored first through Mark Bridge after half-time.

It's little surprise Huysegems was again the matchwinner, the left-footed Belgian's now scored in three straight games for the Wellington club. It's also the first time the Phoenix have won three games in a row for 18 months, and the first time the Phoenix have scored three goals away from home since the start of last season.

The only sour note for the visitors was right back Louis Fenton again dislocating his troublesome shoulder
