The Wellington Phoenix have finally received some good news on the injury front with the Costa Rican international, Carlos Hernandez, set to return earlier than anticipated.
The midfielder returned early from the Phoenix' successful two-game road trip when an X-ray revealed a fracture in his left wrist and was told to expect five to six weeks on the sideline.
However scans have revealed surgery is not necessary and he's been cleared to play the Mariners next weekend.
However the new isn't so good for the fullback Louis Fenton who requires surgery for his shoulder injury and will be missing for the rest of the season.
