New Zealand's Mahe Drysdale has retained his single sculls title at the world rowing championships in Poland.

Drysdale crossed about a boat length ahead of Britain's Alan Campbell for New Zealand's second gold medal on the penultimate day of finals at Poznan.

Earlier Eric Murray and Hamish Bond won the men's pair and Rebecca Scown and Emma Feathery got a bronze medal in the women's pair.

Nathan Cohen and Matthew Trott were fourth in the men's double sculls and so was the women's single sculler Emma Twigg.
