The new Emirates Team New Zealand member, Peter Burling, will take some time at the helm in the Extreme 40 multihull sailing series this year.
Burling was officially added to the team last week along with his 49er world champion crewmate, Blair Tuke.
The Team New Zealand skipper, Dean Barker, announced their involvement in the series today and says he will skipper at five regattas and Burling will take the helm at the other three.
The first regatta will be held in Singapore next month.
