The Silver Ferns coach Wai taumaunu says the just completed tour of Britain has been very helpful as she prepares the side for this year's Commonwealth Games.

The Ferns completed their unbeaten tour with a 67-44 victory over England A in London this morning.

The tour included wins over Jamaica and England as well as playing a couple of exhibition matches in the Commonwealth Games host city of Glasgow.

Taumaunu says she's very happy with what she saw in Glasgow.

That is the last time the Silver Ferns will play together before the Commonwealth Games..... they'll come together briefly 4 times during the trans-Tasman competition which begins on March first.
