Two time defending champion eliminated at Australian Tennis Open

The two time defending champion Victoria Azarenka has been was knocked out of the Australian Tennis Open, beaten in the quarter-finals by fifth seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

Radwanska won the match 6-1, 5-7, 6-0.

Azarenka's loss means none of the top three seeds have made it to the semi finals in Melbourne, with world No.1 Serena Williams and third seed Maria Sharapova losing earlier in the tournament.

Radwanska will play Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia in the semis, after Cibulkova, who beat Sharapova in the fourth round, enjoyed a 6-3 6-0 win over 11th seed Simona Halep.
