The fourth seed Li Na of China will play Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova in the Australian Open final in Melbourne.
Cibulkova has upset fifth seed Agnieszka Radwanska in the semi-finals winning in straight sets, 6-1 6-2.
The 24-year-old Cibulkova has been in good form throughout the tournament belying her 20th seeding, including another upset win when she beat former world number one Maria Sharapova earlier in the tournament.
Li Na reached her second successive Australian Open final with a straight sets win over Canadian teenager Eugenie Bouchard.
