The Wellington Racing Club should be in for a bumper day tomorrow with a sunny forecast for Cup day.
The $200,000 Cup, shortened in recent years from 3200 metres to 2400, hasn't attracted a capacity field this year but it appeals as an open race with the Cambridge mare More Than Sacred likely to start the favourite.
The top weight is another Cambridge stayer, Military Move.
The Cup starts at 5.14 tomorrow afternoon.
The other feature race on the programme is the Thorndon Mile which also offers a $200,000 stake.
