Bond beats Drysdale again

Hamish Bond has again edged fellow Olympic gold medallist Mahe Drysdale to win the single sculls final at the Cambridge Cup.

In very rough sidewind conditions, Bond - the men's pair London champion - narrowly beat Drysdale by two and a half seconds in the final on Lake Karapiro.

It's Bond's second straight triumph over the single sculls specialist, following an earlier win in an event before Christmas.
