The New Zealand Breakers basketballer Alex Pledger re-injured his ankle in training this morning and is touch and go to make his return in Thursday's must-win ANBL home game against the Sydney Kings.
The seven-foot centre will need surgery after the ANBL season, and if Pledger elects to have that before July's World Championships, he'll also miss Tall Blacks' campaign in Spain.
