The veteran Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo has been named Italy's Serie A footballer of the season by his fellow players.
The 34-year-old Italy international, who was a pivotal player in the side that won the 2006 World Cup and reached the final of the 2012 European Championships, is set for another appearance in the finals in Brazil later this year.
