A century from Ross Taylor has helped the New Zealand cricketers to a series victory over India with a seven-wicket win in the fourth one-dayer in Hamilton.

Taylor hit and unbeaten 112, Kane Williamson made 60 and captain Brendon McCullum was 49 not out as the Black Caps chased down their target of 279 with almost 2 overs to spare.

Earlier the Indian batsmen struggled at times against some disciplined New Zealand bowling, making 278 for five with MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma both scoring 79.

New Zealand takes an unbeatable 3-0- lead in the series with the final match in Wellington on Friday night.

McCullum says it's incredibly satisfying to have beaten India in a series.

He says he felt the Seddon Park conditions were better suited to India and so to win has made the team very happy.
