Manchester City enjoyed another goal glut against Tottenham Hotspur, winning 5-1 away to go top of the English Premier football League.

They were helped by Tottenham losing a player early in the second have and the result follows their 6-0 thrashing of Spurs earlier in the season.

Chelsea's title ambitions were hit by a scoreless home draw against West Ham United, who defended superbly in the latter part of the game.

City now have 53 points, one clear of Arsenal and three ahead of Chelsea.

Aston Villa came back from 2-0 down after nine minutes to beat West Bromwich Albion 4-3 and Sunderland moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Stoke City.
