Sweden's Alex Noren held off a determined challenge from Britain's Bradley Dredge to claim his maiden title at the European Golf Masters in Switzerland.
A final round five-under-par 66 for a 20-under total left Noren two strokes ahead of the 2006 Swiss champion Dredge.
The 27-year-old Swede was pushed hard for his first success, sinking a chip-in eagle late in the round to finally shake off Dredge.
Noren earned $471,000 US dollars for his victory and also picked up the maximum 333,330 points in Europe's first Ryder Cup counting event of a year-long campaign.
Two New Zealand golfers were also on display in Switzerland with Michael Campbell finishing in a tie for last after making just his second cut of the year and Danny Lee ending the tournament tied for 42nd.
