It was all positive for the Wellington Phoenix after their sojourn to Auckland was a win-win.
The Phoenix entertained their biggest crowd of the season, 18 thousand fans turned up to Eden Park, as the homeside continued their good run in the A-League with a 2-1 victory over Adelaide.
The reaction from Auckland has added fuel to speculation that the Phoenix are looking to play more games away from Westpac Stadium in Wellington where they fail to make any money.
Coach Ernie Merrick says they had a great time in Auckland.
All of the Phoenix's remaining home games are in Wellington.
They're away to Newcastle next weekend.
