Arsenal go top of EPL

7:36 am on 3 February 2014

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored twice as Arsenal scored a 2-nil home win over Crystal Palace that takes them back to the top of the English Premier football League.

Making his first league start since the season's opening day, Oxlade-Chamberlain scored both goals in the second half to send Arsenal two points above Manchester City, who host third-placed Chelsea tomorrow.

Meanwhile a wayward back pass by Kolo Toure prevented Liverpool strengthening their grip on fourth place as they drew 1-all at West Bromwich Albion.
