Wigan scored six unanswered tries in the second half to run away with a 44-22 win over the New Zealand Warriors in their NRL pre-season clash in Hamilton.

The Warriors had led 22-16 at half-time, but couldn't stay with the British Super League champions in the second spell as they struggled to secure possession.

Joe Brugess scored four of Wigan's nine tries.

Chad Townsend, Adam Tuimavave-Gerrard and Nathaniel Peteru scored tries for the Warriors.

Wigan are heading to Australia to play the Sydney Roosters in the World Club Challenge.
