Wells turns focus to halfpipe

New Zealand freestyle skier Jossi Wells must quickly move on from the disappointment of his tepid performance in the slopestyle skiing final at the Sochi Winter Olympics, and switch his focus onto next Wednesday's halfpipe competition.

Wells finished 11th in the slopestyle final after messing up both his runs as Joss Christensen led an American clean sweep of the medals.

Wells says his tough slopestyle experience won't help or hinder his performance in the halfpipe competition.

Wells' younger brother Beau-James failed to reach the slopestyle final, but both get another shot at medal glory in next week's halfpipe competition, where they'll be joined by the youngest of the Wells brothers, Byron.
