Not much went right for the New Zealand golf star Lydia Ko on the final day at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

The 16 year old world number four had to settle for a one-over par 73 on a windy final day at the Victoria golf club, to finish in a 3-way tie for third behind the veteran Australian Karrie Webb, who won the title for a fifth time with a closing round of 68.

From the first two events of the season, Ko has won $103,000.

The LPGA Tour moves to Thailand later this week.
