Teenage New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has faded in the final round of the Thailand LPGA tour event to finish in a tie for 19th.

The 16-year-old started the final round in a tie for fifth and while most of the field scored well, the world number four was the only player in the top-20 not to shoot under par.

She made a pair of bogeys and a pair of birdies on the front nine, and played the back nine two-over par to fire a final round 74 and finish the tournament at three-under.

Ko now heads to Singapore for the Singapore Women's Champions tournament.

Sweden's Anna Nordqvist held off a dramatic late challenge from world number one In-Bee Park to notch her third LPGA title and her first win since 2009.

The Swede finished 15-under, two up from South Korean defending champion Park whose birdie-studded final round 66 was just not enough to claim victory in Thailand.
