The New Zealand tennis player, Marina Erakovic, has cruised through the first round of the WTA event in Mexico.
Erakovic easily dispatched the Mexican wildcard, Ana Sofia Sanchez in straight sets, 6-2 6-2.
She will meet the sixth seeded Serbian, Bojana Jovanoski, in the second round after she beat the American wildcard, Alicia Black in straight sets.
