The roller-coaster A-League form of the Wellington Phoenix has continued with a 5-1 hiding from Adelaide United in Australia.
Adelaide, who move up to third on the table, dominated the game against a bewildered Phoenix.
Wellington beat Central Coast 4-1 in their last match, but lost 5-nil to the Melbourne Heart the week before.
The Phoenix's Reece Caira has a fractured eye socket and their star attacker Kenny Cunningham may have broken a foot late in the match.
Phoenix coach Eddie Merrick says when things go wrong, they go wrong properly.
The Phoenix remain 7th on the table.
