Australian wins NZ Golf Open

The Australian golfer Dimitrios Papadatos has won the New Zealand Open, at the Hills in Arrowtown.

Papadatos shot a final round six under par 66, to finish at 18 under for the tournament, four shots clear of Wellington's Mark Brown who was runner up.

Te Anau's David Klein was a shot back in third place.

Papadatos had a one shot lead going into the final round, but took control of the tournament posting seven birdies and one bogey in his final round.
