Trott ready for first class comecback

8:04 am on 7 March 2014

The England top order batsman Jonathan Trott will return to cricket in Warwickshire's two-day pre-season match against Gloucestershire beginning on April 1.

The 32-year-old right-hander left England's tour of Australia after the first Ashes Test late last year due to a stress-related illness.

Trott has spent time away from cricket since, but he's thrilled to have announced the date for his return to the game, and "overwhelmed" by the amazing support he's had since he returned hoem from the Ashes tour.
