The New Zealand paralympian Corey Peters has finished sixth in his debut event at the Winter Games in Sochi.

Sit-skier Peters, who's from New Plymouth, was sixth in the Super G.

Three-time Olympian Adam Hall of Dunedin went into his standing Super G event ranked sixth but failed to finish.

Both athletes have other events to compete in. Hall is the standing slalom gold medallist.
