Hurricanes first five-eighth Beauden Barrett has come out in support of his embattled coach Mark Hammett, after the side's dreadful start to the Super Rugby season.
Hammett has come under fire following the Hurricanes' loss to the Brumbies in Wellington on Friday, leaving them with just one competition point from their first three games and extending their losing run to eight games going back to last season.
However Barrett says it's the players who need to make the improvements, not the coach.
