Weather disrupts Paralympics in Sochi

5:48 am on 12 March 2014

The weather has forced organisers to reschedule part of the Super-combined event at the Sochi Winter Paralympics, but New Zealander Adam Hall is well placed for a medal.

Rain and fog forced organisers to postpone the Super Giant Slalom part of the event until later in the week, but the Slalom did go ahead with Hall in 4th place in the standing class.

Hall, who failed to finish the Super-G at the weekend says it was very challenging today, but he was able to ski to the best of his ability.

The winner of the Super-Comibined is the athlete with the best combined time from the SuperGiant Slalom and Slalom.

Meanwhile Corey Peters took a cautious approach to his run and he's in 7th place in the sitting class.

Peters says it wasn't anywhere near his cleanest Slalom he's ever done, but he knew he had to play it safe.

The SuperGiant Slalom part of the event is scheduled to be run on Friday night.
