Corletto playing through the pain for Bruton

10:28 am on 13 March 2014

The Breakers basketballer Daryl Corletto says he'd do anything for retiring guard CJ Bruton, including playing through the pain of a badly rolled ankle to give his team-mate one final chance to win a championship.

The New Zealanders still believe they can make the playoffs despite sitting second to last in the 8 team NBL competition, they must win their last two games, and hope a litany of other results go their way.

While their playoff dreams may be overly optimistic, Corletto says they're desperate to send Bruton out on a winning note.

Bruton will start the final two games.
