The New Zealand netballers are heading home from Auckland today to prepare for next month's northern tour with their morale boosted by easily avoiding a fourth straight loss to Australia .

After the one goal loss in Invercargill coach Ruth Aitken marked the Silver Ferns at about 60 per cent of where she wanted them to be in relation to her Australian counterpart Norma Plummer's side.

Now Aitken says their 16 goal win in the fifth test in Auckland has them at about 75 per cent.

Ruth Aitken - the squad for the world series in Manchester and tests against England and Jamaica will be named tomorrow morning.
