Black Caps beaten in World Cup warmup match

The New Zealand cricketers have been beaten by Pakistan by 6 wickets in a T20 World Cup warmup match in Bangladesh.

New Zealand batted first and scored 145 for 9 with Brendon McCullum unbeaten on 59, while Colin Munro with 20 and Martin Guptil with 11 they only other batsmen to reach double figures.

Pakistan reached their target with a ball to spare with Mohammad Hafeez making 55, while Nathan McCullum picked up 2 wickets.

The Black Caps play Australia tomorrow night in another warmup match before their first game against England on Sunday.

Meanwhile in World Cup qualifying matches... Ireland beat Zimbabwe by 3 wickets and the Netherlands beat the UAE by 6 wickets.
