Marina Erakovic has been dumped out in the first round of singles at the latest WTA event in Florida.
The New Zealand number one lost in straight sets to American qualifier Coco Vandeweghe, going down 6-4 7-6 in just under two hours.
Erakovic also lost in the first round of the doubles later in the week.
With Croatian partner Petra Martic, the unseeded pair lost in a super tiebreak to the second seeded Russian duo of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
