Reds recall Tapuai for Lions clash

The Queensland Reds have recalled centre Ben Tapuai for this weekend's Super Rugby clash with the Lions in Johannesburg.

In the only change to the team which fell 35-20 to the pace-setting Sharks last weekend, seven-Test Wallaby Tapuai replaces the injured Chris Feauai-Sautia in the midfield.

Tapuai started the Reds' opening two matches in the No.13 jersey but failed to make an impact against the Brumbies and NSW.

Queensland go into the Ellis Park encounter on Sunday with a 2-2 record in eighth place, but can leapfrog the fourth-placed Lions (3-2) with a win.

The Reds have also made changes to their bench with Albert Anae replacing prop Ben Daley (knee) and Ben Lucas and Anthony Faingaa bracketed among the reserves.
