7:10 pm on 24 March 2014

The New Zealand cricketers play their second match of the Twenty20 world cup tonight, coming up against a South African side desperately needing to win to remain in the competition.

The Black Caps beat England in their first game while South Africa suffered a narrow loss to Sri Lanka.

Three wins from four games is needed for a side to reach the semi finals and if they Black Caps can beat South frica their next game is against unfancied Netherlands.

Vice captain Kane Williamson says momentum plays a big part in tournaments like these.

The match is scheduled to start at 10.30pm although heavy rain showers are forecast during the match.
