Loss of Windies one dayers a setback

The loss of the five-match one day series against the West Indies in June is a setback for the New Zealand cricket side's build up to next year's one day World Cup.

The encroachment of the Indian Premier League into June means the Black Caps' Carribean tour will now include just three Tests and two Twenty20 games.

The one dayers will now be re-scheduled but won't be before next year's World Cup.

New Zealand Cricket's operations manager Lindsay Crocker says they're now looking to fill the schedule with other matches.
