Wood leads Leicester closer to EPL

New Zealand international Chris Wood was heavily involved as his Leicester City moved another step closer to the English Premier League.

The All Whites striker created the opening goal and scored the second as the Championship leaders eased to a 2-0 victory at promotion rivals Burnley, handing the Clarets their first home league defeat for over a year.

Leicester now look certain to secure automatic promotion sooner rather than later - with eight games left, and one in hand on the teams around them, the Foxes are now 15 points clear of third-placed QPR and six points above second-placed Burnley.

The Foxes need just two wins and a draw to assure at least second place and a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2003.

Leicester have now gone 19 league games unbeaten.
