ICC governance changes to become clear

12:20 pm on 28 March 2014

Just how much impact the recent governance changes at the International Cricket Council will have on New Zealand's future playing schedule should become clearer when the future tours programme through until the mid 2020's is mapped out over the next week or so.

New Zealand cricket officials will attend an ICC meeting in Bangladesh this weekend to try and map out the future schedule from 2020 to 2025.

NZC's operations manager Lindsay Crocker says the current programme which is scheduled to go through until 2020 will largely remain in place and they have already got commitments from India, England and Australia for tours beyond that, but the timing is yet to be decided.

Crocker says New Zealanders should get to see to big countries just as much, if not more, than they have in the past.

Crocker says financially they should be better off also as they've already confirmed some arrangements with India.
