Warriors to contest grading of Louisi charge

4:48 pm on 1 April 2014

The Warriors second rower Sione Lousi is to contest the grading of his dangerous throw charge at an National Rugby League judiciary hearing on Thursday night.

Lousi could be suspended for three games after the match review committee handed him a grade two charge over the tackle in which Wests Tigers counterpart Cory Paterson landed on his head during Saturday's match in Wellington.

The Warriors are seeking a downgrading of the charge.

Meanwhile, the Sydney Roosters and Kiwis prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will miss one match, Friday's clash with Canterbury after entering an early guilty plea for a careless high tackle on Manly's Glenn Stewart.
