Hurrell to start for Warriors

6:46 pm on 1 April 2014

The Warriors have named the centre, Konrad Hurrell, in their NRL starting side for the first time this season for the match against the Sharks in Sydney on Saturday.

Hurrell's been on the outer since arriving for the season overweight, but replaces Jerome Ropati, who suffered a broken jaw in the win over the Tigers.

The back rower, Feleti Mateo, returns on an extended bench after he was ruled out of the Tigers match with a knee injury.

Sione Lousi has been named at loose forward as he awaits the result of a judicial hearing in Sydney on Thursday.

Lousi is contesting the grading of a dangerous throw, if the appeal is unsuccessful, Sebastine Ikahihifo is set to come in for his first NRL outing of the year.
