Kuchar says Masters won't suffer without Woods

The world golf number 11 Matt Kuchar says next week's Masters won't suffer despite the absence of Tiger Woods.

Four-time champion Woods will miss the Masters for the first time in his career after having surgery on a pinched nerve in his back.

Kuchar, who was eighth at Augusta last year, says the Masters is still the greatest golf tournament.

Fellow American Stewart Cink, the 2009 Open champion, says the sport had enjoyed high-quality tournaments in the past without Woods, citing his absence in 2008 while he recovered from knee surgery.

Cink says it'll be a little different without him, but it's still a great tournament.
