The Blues halfback Piri Weepu has returned to training after he was forced out of the game last month because of a mild stroke.
An MRI scan after his return from South Africa a fortnight ago confirmed the stroke and he was expected to be out of action for a month.
Weepu has Tweeted that he had a gym session this morning and that it feels good to be back training again.
The former All Black is expected to make a full recovery.
