Black Sticks beaten by Argentina

The New Zealand women's hockey team has been beaten 3-2 by Argentina in their latest match at the 6-nation tournament in Hastings.

The two sides were locked at 2-2 with time almost up, before the Argentinians grabbed the winner to remain unbeaten after three rounds.

Anita Punt and Kayla Sharland scored the goals for the Blacks Sticks who now have one win and two losses.

In the days other matches Australia thrashed China 4-0 and Korea beat Japan 3-2.

New Zealand's next match is against Japan on Thursday night.
